The warm weather isn’t faring well for local roads.
Roads departments in Minden and Dysart are busy repairing gravel roads and fixing potholes. The Director of Public Works in Dysart says the potential savings on winter maintenance have all gone to gravel. It’s the same story in Minden who’s Roads Superintendent says they’re busy grading roads but the rain keeps washing them out. He also says they’re about $17,000 over budget.
