On Saturday the Highland Storm Joanne Sharpley’s Source for sports Haliburton family medical centre peewees hosted the Parry sound Shamrocks and despite being down 3-1 at the end of the first the peewee’s battled back to tie it up late in the third only to have the Shamrocks bounce one in late in the game for a 4-3 win. Cooper Coles, Austin Boylan and Kyan Hall scored for the Storm. In other action The Highland Storm Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House Dollos Foodland Bantam A’s played a couple of games over the weekend. On Friday in Minden the Bantams came back from and early defecit to beat the Brock Wild  7-4 and on Saturday the Storm was in Whitby for a game against the Durham Crusaders and despite getting off to an early lead lost 5-2. On Saturday, the Tom Prentice and Sons Trucking Tykes travelled to Sunderland to play the Brock Wild. The Storm’s overwhelmed  the Wild 7-1. the Storm’s  Jack Tomlinson notched a hattrick , Easton Burk got his first of the season, Mason Latanville’s and Evan Perrott also scored. The Highland Storm Midgets were in a tournament in Bracebridge this past weekend  A great effort by the team took them into the semi-finals, which they loss against the South Muskoka Bears, 3-2 in over-time.
