The Haliburton TimberMart and Haliburton Hockey Haven Sports Camp Highland Storm Novices hosted the McKecknie Fall Classic at the AJ La Rue arena this past weekend. It was a great success with teams coming from around the province and the Storm Novices ended up beating the Douro Dukes 4-1 to win the B championships. In other action the JoAnne Sharpley’s Source for Sports/ Haliburton Family Medical Centre Peewee’s thumped the Orono Leafs  10-0 on Friday night with 6 goals from Addison ST Cyr and singles from Isaac Lee Mak Prentice , Austin Boylan and Cooper Coles. And the The Highlander and Ed Smolen Family Dentistry Midgets beat the Parry Sound Shamrocks 6-3 on Saturday. Tyson Clements scored twice with singles from Lucas Haedicke, Zach Morrisette, Braden Robinson and  Desi Davies
