The Highlander and Ed Smolen Family Dentistry Highland Storm Midget’s started their first round playoffs against the Shelburne Wolves and despite a valiant effort lost 5-4. Storm scorers were Owen Gilbert Nigel Smith who both had two. A couple of Storm teams were involved in the MPS tournaments over the weekend. Joanne Sharpley’s Source for Sports & Haliburton Medical Center PeeWee’s had a tough weekend losing all three of their games while the  Haliburton Timbermart and Haliburton Hockey Haven Novice’s beat South Muskoka 5-1, Storm goals from Max Rupnow who had  2 while  Luke Gruppe , Isaac Trotter and  Jack Tomlinson added singles.
