No new COVID-19 cases added in Haliburton Tuesday

One more recovery and no new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Haliburton Tuesday.

The county now stands at 11 active cases with no current probable cases.

In addition, five more people from Haliburton screened positive for a variant of concern** Tuesday.  

The health unit reported a total of 17 new cases district-wide, all in Northumberland. 

The Haliburton Kawartha District Health Unit just under a thousand tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. 

**Even though the variants of concern have been counted in the data today it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in previous daily case counts.
