One person is dead and two people injured after separate vehicle rollovers on the weekend.
Haliburton Highlands OPP says just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday, emergency services responded to a vehicle that left Highway 35 southbound in Minden Hills, crossed into the northbound, and rolled over onto Moore Lake Estates Road.
According to officials, the car’s occupants were taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.
Two hours later, the OPP says a single ATV rolled over on Madill Road near Glamor Lake Road in Highlands East, with the lone rider pronounced dead at the scene.
