The Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHSF) released an Open Letter to the community yesterday.
Part of the letter stated that the HHHSF is not involved in operations, and are an independent fundraising not-for-profit created to financially support areas of Haliburton Highlands Health Services that are not funded by the government.
The letter went on to say that the foundation is deeply concerned for the community, as well as the individuals affected by the recent changes, and will continue to raise funds for equipment that will help health care workers be their best and help the efforts to bring more qualified workers to the county.
