Haliburton County Volunteer Dental Outreach is recognizing a person and a company by installing two commemorative plaques.
Officials say the first plaque will be placed near a new state-of-the-art dental chair that pays tribute to the late Lisa Kerr, a VDO founder and board member. The second plaque recognizes the donation of a similar modern chair by Henry Schein Canada, the VDO’s supplier.
These chairs kick started an extensive renovation project at the clinic in the summer of 2023.
Bill Kerr, volunteer dentist and founding board member, says “the clinic is now state of the art, providing a comfortable working environment for our dental volunteers.”
The plaques will be unveiled on Friday, at the clinic at 739 Mountain St. in Haliburton.
