The Rotary Club of Haliburton says their free bike share program is back.
Officials say the bikes returned to the racks outside the Haliburton’s Visitors’ Welcome Centre in Head Lake Park on May 11 and will remain available for use until the Thanksgiving weekend.
They have all been refurbished to increase their reliability.
The Club says six bikes are free to use to those over 18 during daylight hours. All you need to unlock one is a smart phone and a credit card as a security deposit. Riders are encouraged to use a helmet, available for free from the dock box next to the bike rack.
