The Township of Minden Hills is doing some urgent watermain maintenance scheduled today along Highway 35 from Newcastle Street to the end of the watermain North of County Road 21.
Officials say residents and businesses in the affected area may experience reduced water pressure or a complete loss of water for a short period of time.
Work is expected to be completed between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The Township says if residents experience discoloration in the water, they should run outdoor faucet, laundry tub faucet, bath, or shower faucet until the discolouration clears.
Normal discolouration during this process includes rusty or cloudy coloured water.
