There’s going to be plenty to do around the area on Canada Day.
In Minden, a full day is scheduled on July 1st.
The day kicks off at 7:30 a.m downtown with a Fishing Derby for the kids 14 and under and the activities just keep going all day long. A magician, bouncy castles, free ice cream, vendors, exhibitors and of course fireworks are all on the agenda.
Parts of Water, Prince and Milne streets will all be closed for the day.
More events are also happening across the county and Highlands East, including a breakfast at the Cardiff Legion, Flag raising and games in Wilberforce and much more.
