Incumbent PC candidate Laurie Scott has unofficially been re-elected in Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock.
Scott was in the lead all night, followed by the Liberals Alison Bennie, and the NDP’s Barbara Doyle.
When the dust settled and all the polls closed, Scott had a nearly 15,000 vote lead.
Scott will be part of another Conservative majority. Doug Ford and the Conservatives secured a third straight majority government winning 81 seats.

With 25 seats, the NDP and leader Marit Stiles will serve as official opposition.
