28,236 people voted in area advance polls

Advance voter numbers are in for Kawartha-Haliburton.

Elections Canada reports 28,236 people cast ballots over the four-day Easter long weekend.

Across Canada, nearly 7.3 million people took advantage of the advanced polls, which is a 25% increase from the 5.8 million electors who voted in advanced polls in 2021.  Complete data on the advanced polling turnout can be viewed here.

April 28 is federal Election Day.  The polls will be open from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. Even if you aren’t registered yet, you can do so and vote on Election Day.
