The Municipality of Minden Hills is getting a new roads excavator.
At a meeting on April 24, council approved the purchase of a new Cat 315GC excavator for $326,000, and a 30-ton trailer for $49,000.
Funding for the purchases was initially approved during the 2025 capital budget deliberations on Feb. 4.
