More than 13 kilometers of roads in Haliburton County will receive surface treatment this summer.
On April 23, Haliburton County Council approved a $1.3 million agreement with Miller Paving for the roads project.
County officials say the work will include 7.7 kilometers of County Road 20, from Highway 35 to the single lane bridge, 3.5 kilometers of Country Road 12, from County Road 8 to McClintock Road, and 2 kilometers of County Road 4 from Esson Lake Landing to #1465.
Officials say crews will pulverize the existing road surface, re-grade and compact the road and then apply surface treatment.
