A sculptor who created one of the first pieces in the Haliburton Sculpture Forest is adding another.
Mary Ellen Farrow crafted a stone hiker holding a bronze maple leaf for the forest in 2001.
Farrow says her current piece is a loaded canoe.
She adds she has seen other sculpture forests, but Haliburton’s is very unique to her.
Farrow’s work will be introduced to the forest next month along with fellow artists, John McKinnon, Jiri Genzer, and Carole Turner, bringing the sculpture count to 35.
Farrow lives in Georgetown Ontario.
