Hydro One confirmed that they are looking into the cause of the fire at a hydro substation in Allshaw last week.
A fire at a substation saw 27,000 customers without power for several hours, and although the cause is still unknown Hydro One says that they are investigating in tandem with repairing the damage to the substation.
With the hydro substation engulfed in flames, the hydro workers were forced to bypass the substation re-routing power elsewhere in the grid to bring power back.
Both Dysart and Minden Firefighters were on scene for several hours dealing with the blaze.
