Haliburton Timbermart and Haliburton Hockey Haven Sports Camp Novice’s started their first round of the playoffs in Wasaga Beach on Saturday against the Stars who beat the Storm 4-1 but the Novices were back in Haliburton on Sunday and came back from a 4-0 deficit to shock the Stars 5-4 in overtime. Storm goals from Henry Neilson who had a pair and singles from Max Rupnow Evan Perrot and Luke Gruppe who notched the overtime winner. A similar story for the Ridgewood Ford and Cottage Country Building Supplies Atom’s who lost their first game in Whitby against the Durham Crusaders Lost 5-4 but back in Haliburton on Sunday they crushed the Crusaders 4-1. Storm goals by Austin Latanville who had 2 and singles by Liam Harrison and Josh Scheffee .
