The HKPR District Health Unit has identified another High Risk Contact after announcing the total number of confirmed COVID cases in Haliburton County was up to 8.
Haliburton County had levelled off at a total of 7 cases for the last 6 weeks.
The health unit updated the number of cases to 8 on Monday afternoon, and through contact tracing have identified two individuals who have been in contact with the latest confirmed case, but do not show any symptoms of the virus.
The Health Unit also declared the COVID outbreaks at the Kawartha Lakes Retirement Residence in Bobcaygeon, and the Empire Crossing Retirement Home in Port Hope, over.
